Declaration of Intention

A good marriage is created by two people who are prepared to put their partners needs before their own.  They complement each other as they work together for the good of their relationship. When a man and woman openly and sincerely declare their affection for one another they are affirming the precious truth that love is the foundation of all life; between men and women, between parents and children, and between friends.  A good marriage has a strong foundation of trust and unconditional support for each other; it is having someone to share your hopes, aspirations and disappointments with. Marriage is being with someone who will be there for you always, through the ups and downs, joys and sorrows of daily life. When Party 1 and Party 2 were married they were telling the world that they had found the one special person with whom they wanted to spend the rest of their lives.  They had faith that their relationship would be strong and lasting.

Today Party 1 and Party 2 are a testimony to the faith they have in one another and in their marriage and they would like to extend gratitude and thanks to all who have shown them encouragement and support in their married life together.

(Optional)

The arrival of a child/children enriches a marriage. Party 1 and Party 2 have been blessed by presence of (child/children) who have been fortunate to experience the love, stability and support of their parents as they have grown and developed within this solid and happy family unit.
